Our Team

I am a very lucky person.  Not only do I get to meet amazing, interesting people; eventually calling them “friend.”  Over the last 2 years I have met talented artists and musicians.  I’ve had the honor of helping new, emerging artists have their first show.  I’ve labored (sometimes late into the night) with volunteers willing to give generously of their time.

It gets even better.

I’ve had the pleasure to do all this with an incredible team.  I love and appreciate the people I work with -they are passionate, caring, kind, generous, and (most importantly) my friends.  Our team (our “board” and volunteers) our amazing people.   The leadership and professionalism we share and build with each other is like nothing I’ve experienced in my 20+ years of working in private and public sector businesses.  We each bring a different talent to the group that adds more than itself (sort of a 1+1=3 type of thing).  Over the last couple of years we’ve endured, laughed, worked, shared, encouraged, helped, argued and celebrated - - I look forward to many more times ahead.

I am grateful for our team, they are wonderful people.  There is no other place I’d rather be and certainly no other group of people with whom I’d want to share it.

I hope you feel the same about your team.

Holiday Happenings

Yes, it’s that time of year again.  Parties and fun and…dui check stops!  We just got stopped on our way home from Sonoma tonight.  So I thought I’d display this little reminder.  Please don’t be this guy!duibreathtest

What Works?

At this time of year reflection is big.  People making plans for a new year, considering resolutions for the next twelve months.  Most of these will revolve around patterns, habits or attitudes that we want to change or (more) completely stop.

Instead of asking “what should I change?”, what if we shift the question to “what works?”

Ask yourself:

Everyone of us has something that works in our life; something we can build on and develop.  What we focus on (the words we use) becomes our reality.

I challenge you to carry the best of you and your life into 2009.  The more we focus on the stuff that works, the stuff that doesn’t work goes away.

What do you think?
